My family and I have been going there for years. And we've never been disappointed! Always great staff and delicious food. Pizzas are great. Gnocchis are great everything is great 😂

Food is ok ... everything should be homemade. Often find it pretty easy ... nothing special. There were long waiting times even before Corona. If you're around, it's okay.

A shame, even one star is too much, service absolute disaster, unfriendly, annoyed and listless. Eating just as listless. It's a shame, it used to be such a great location that no longer exists.

Beware of thieves

It used to be better. On my last visit, the service was totally overwhelmed, not exactly friendly and totally slow with the orders. The pasta, dripping with oil, wasn't even mediocre. Tip on the side: if you order mussels, it makes sense to include a plate for the shells, but only on the side. I'm really disappointed, will not come back, there is good pizza elsewhere.

It started with a glass of red wine for 5.50 euros, which was warm like soup. After complaining, the "friendly" waitress, who fidgeted the whole evening with her hair, brought the glass back with the ice cubes in it! They ran out of wine glasses for Lambrusco. We all got a small glass of water. Starters were very good. Then the main courses "came": first there was a wrong dish that we did not order. The waiter said: yes, you ordered that, we, no, we didn't order that and he said again: yes, this is an order from you. So it went back and forth 2 or 3 times. Then came the question of what I ordered, whereupon I or we all repeated our orders. At some point he gave in and took the dish back with him. Then my husband's meal came: papardelle with porcini mushrooms and fillet points. was completely unseasoned! Neither salt on the pasta nor salt or anything else on the food itself. After complaining, the waitress, who incidentally smoked e-cigarettes in the restaurant or in front of the guests, said: do you need salt? I don't have to say that seasoned food doesn't taste the way it should. Our friend - Pizza Diabolo - missed the pepperoni. At some point my food came. I thought. Wrong again! I ordered calamari in tomato sauce and got grilled calamari! Again not a word of apology. Even when saying goodbye, not a word of apology or any discount. But best of all: there is not a single light on the entire outside terrace, apart from a small candle at each table, which is only lit when requested. Conclusion: staff or service and food were under all cannon. Mare e Monte can be sure: they will never see us again !!!!!! I almost forgot. The ladies room: the first one was totally closed (sorry for the choice of words). In the other there was a sanitary napkin on the toilet seat. The sinks were both totally dirty. They haven't been cleaned for a few days. Even when it's busy, you have to pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene, especially in the time of Corona. The public order office should take action here.

Service ... well. Rusticly unfriendly. There are no children's portions. Pizza was delicious. Lasagna was a fat pan, unfortunately! Campari orange was not properly chilled.

Was actually our favorite Italian with the best pizza in the city and you always felt super comfortable and could always spend a nice evening, THAT has changed UNWORTHLY - the service is catastrophic !!!!!!!!! We have rarely seen such unfriendly staff. Orders are taken incorrectly and then calculated very cheekily, you are not asked a second time if you want to drink something, despite the fact that there are only empty glasses on the table and no one is able to say "Hello" and "Bye" , UNFORTUNATELY a shame !!!!

Stayed at Mare e Monte with 7 people, food was delicious whether fish, pasta or pizza. We were also served very friendly and quickly .... Recommended ....

Great food but The waiter Was weird

This italien place is authentic with service speaking Italien. Also radio playing inside the restaurant and outside on terrase is Italien. Plus one of the best woodfire pizza you can get around Heilbronn. Of course you can get ther home made pasta or gnocki. One last thing. I love their mozzarella chesse. Go and get sommething with it. Wisiting them weekly almost 2 and half yesrs.
